One may have heard of the bird sanctuary at Ranganthittu, near Mysore.

This is a nearby, relatively almost unknown place. Here birds co-exist with villagers like an extended family. The people are quite knowledgable… they said look how they are providing shade for their children. The boy is explaining where the birds have migrated from.
