yet another casual morning

While standing on the rustic roadside, I noticed something walking down the mud road… a mongoose. As I looked up, there were two more behind it… a family of them walking together in a group. I just couldn’t believe it. They were looking at me occasionally but still walking down past me as I stood motionless.

They were shy, wild, animals … yet there was this magical moment of trust… they were continuing to walk past me – barely a couple of meters away.

Talk about timing – just then a scooter came rattling down the same road… they disappeared into the bushes.

Still it had been a magical start to the day 🙂

What we can learn from a millipede – with all its legs, it doesn’t have to think about how it has to move them to go forward… it just moves. Here we can observe it in slow motion for a few moments and see how simple and effortless it is for the millipede 🙂
